After spending the first half of the day in Toledo we were just ready to get to the Motor City Hotel and Casino in Detroit. We found out that wasn't so easy when the main interstate is completely dug up and closed. Our GPS was worthless because of the detour and that left us either crossing the bridge to Canada or going through an area of town that look similar to the photo above. We chose the latter and it was seriously disturbing. We were on the verge of murder about three times it probably didn't help that we were driving a 2009 Cadillac. How in the shit did this place ever get a Super Bowl.Once we finally made it to the hotel, it was beauitful and it was probably the nicest room I've ever stayed in. A small tiny diamond in the lump of shit that is Detroit.
Also good job this week Graham .. the videos were great. It made me want to do this below.
