First off the photo above is a screen shot of ESPN's College Gameday when they came to Lexington a couple of weeks ago for the UK vs. Florida game. Anyway if you look above Lee Corso's head you will see a illustrated image of Kige. It sorta reminds me of the ghost/card board cutout scene in Three Men and a Baby. Anyway..on to the Kige Blog.
I get a lot of viewer questions about why NASCAR is a sport. Well NASCAR is a sport for a lot of the same reasons football is it is competitive, has a ton of drama, and as a lot of loyal fans. Also people ask me why I am I a NASCAR fan, well the reason I am a NASCAR fan is my dad. My dad is a big NASCAR fan and has been since he was a teenager going to races with his dad. When I was about eight I was down in our basement playing like any normal eight year old kid would be I looked up at our TV in the basement saw a bunch of cars racing I asked my dad what that was. He said it was NASCAR once I found out what it was I had to pick a favorite driver so my strategy for picking a driver was this. I did not want to pick a driver who was a established driver and a seasoned veteran in the sport who might retire in two or three years so I found the youngest driver with promise that I could find that driver happened to be Jeff Gordon. So I chose Gordon as my favorite driver. When I told my dad that my favorite driver was Jeff Gordon he thought I was crazy. But now he does not think I am so crazy after Jeff Gordon has 81 cup victories and four cup championships. Hopefully he will win his fifth this year.
*Special Thanks to Ryan The Intern for this find.

Is Kige in the third grade? 'Cause that's what his blog reads like. It seems like a "What I did over Summer Break" essay he wrote during his first week back to school, grammar and sentence structure-wise. He never fails to entertain... as long as you're not expecting anything good.
