What's going on with....Monster Trucks

Hello 91* readers this is a new segment to the blog entitled "What's going on with.." and today we are shifting our attention to a real sport without drug users or Tony Parker. This is the sport that I was raised on..Monster Trucks. Now of course we all know the legend that is "Bigfoot" I mean who hasn't sit in Bigfoot's wheel in a Beaver Dam, KY parking lot. However the days of Bigfoot, USA#1 and Gravedigger competing neck and neck on ESPN are over. So really what's going on with monster trucks? I'm glad you asked because today the USHRA's Monster Jam series is still going strong unfortunately not on tv or at Freedom Hall. Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Bounty Hunter, Bigfoot and I'm sure the occasional fire breathing car destroying robot (see header above) are still very popular but not in the regions you may think..try New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, United Kingdom, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Zurich, and Milano. So if your in one of these areas..be sure and check out a show, because that would really be the only reason to go to Amsterdam..I mean really.

The more you know: I think monster trucks hit their peak when Tackleberry drove Bigfoot to his wedding in Police Academy 3.
