Why does fire and explosions make people laugh like assholes?

Actually I'm shouldn't be talking because I truly enjoy the pleasures of a FLAME THROWER (no not Ryan The Intern's Geo Tracker). Honestly if the shit went down and I had my weapon of choice, a flame thrower would be it .. besides ninja stars of course.
