A night of WIN and FAIL

Let's start with the fail and that being my night of UFC or lack there of. Each month I head to my favorite pub Woody's and watch the UFC pay per view however tonight they replaced the UFC with a band called the Degenerates. Basically the Degenerates did nothing but John Mellencamp covers and so I had one beer and I was out. Before I left a guy told me I might be able to catch it at another bar just a mile down the road called "New Directions" of course when I heard that name I envisioned THIS. Well I gave it a try but no UFC and believe it or not an even worse band.

As for the WIN, Jennie and I went to dinner at Martini Italian Bistro and we were sitting next to the bar when I noticed a familiar face. It took me a second to figure it out but it was indeed Commander Chekov from Star Trek. I'm not even a Star Trek fan but I thought it was pretty dope that Chekov was throwing down a glass of wine with his hot wife.

Side Note: I found out later he was in town for some Trek convention at the Clarion Hotel.
