Growing up in South Central Kentucky you had the perfect cheap vacation only an hour away. It was Opryland USA which was the home to the Grizzly River Rampage, Walbash Cannonball and of course Chaos. Then all of a sudden it was gone. In December 1997 the park was closed for good and replaced with a shopping mall. I guess they don't call it GAYlord entertainment for nothing.

ok...my Opryland story...when I was in the 8th grade me and one of my friends went there and we met this guy...who was the same age as us...and he tried to kidnap me...that's the short version...
ok...my Opryland story...I went to Opryland with my girl scout troop back in the day, and the grizzly river rampage "broke down" while we were on it. It was terrifying. I am scarred psychologically.
I hearted Oprlyland.
It is truly missed.
