The Bro-Thel picked up Rock Band yesterday. For a kid with two jobs, a TV show and 18 hours of class, I might as well have just taken up heroin. Still, we started Twat-Shot last night (me on guitar, J.D. on drums and Zuk on vocals) and...Jesus Christ, what a game. Having the crowd fill in the chorus on Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" ("WANTED!") and sing along to the freaking solo on Weezer's "Say it Ain't So" makes me giddy every time. Guitar Hero III looks like Kige Ramsey next to Rock Band's Keith Olbermann. If you've never played it, do yourself a favor and go down to Western or U of L and find the first house with "Creep" blaring out of it, barge in and watch the game for the next few hours. They won't care.
