BBC News put together a great list of 100 things we didn't know last year

Here are a few of my favs:

- Saddam Hussein's codename while in US custody in 2004/5 was "Victor".
- There is mobile phone reception from the summit of Mount Everest.
- Kryptonite exists.
- Books used to be bound in human skin.
- Cats can be police constables.
- Dumbledore is gay.
- Deep-voiced men have more children.

Chickens can be diagnosed with depression. Maybe they didn't like 2007 either.
