A lot can happen in 24 hours

This is a screen shot from the Minnesota Vikings home page and to say a lot changed for this team in 24 hours is an understatement. In one days time they went from "hey we got a pretty decent running game" to having a "HISTORICAL SEASON," well historical according to their website anyway. If you know me well, you know that I'm happy that Favre is back, and if you say you rather see Tavaris Jackson as the Vikings quarterback rather than Brett Favre, well I don't think we can be Internet friends anymore. I can't wait to see the battles Favre has with Jay Cutler in Chicago and Rodgers in Green Bay. It's good for football.

I can imagine Mike Vick is the happiest about the Favre situation because it took the media spotlight away from him for a few minutes. Has anyone started the countdown clock for the Philadelphia fans to start booing McNabb out and wanting Vick in?

I hope Favre hands Rodgers his ass when the Vikes play the Packers!

Damn right, Joe! He should shove it up Ted Thompson's ass when the game is over and the Vikings blow out the Pack 42-7.

Rodgers be damned! He's the only reason they ran Favre out of Green Bay in the first damn place. And he's a low-talent schlub.

Packers fans are so damned riled up...it amuses me. Brett's an amazing quarterback and if he wants to play, then let the man play...whereever he wants to play. A true Brett fan doesn't care where he plays. I, for one, will be glad to see him back again. I just got excited about Sunday afternoons and Monday nights again. :)

I agree! Rodgers sucked cock (although his piece of shit defense didn't help his case), and Jet Favre was flying high when he tore his arm up.

I suspect the Vikings, barring any aberrations, will very likely be in the Super Bowl this year... despite being a Patriots, Titans, and Steelers fan, I'm pulling for the Vikes to win it all. That would be the perfect ending to the Favre era in the NFL. He deserves the moment and the retribution.
