Today in Jack White badassery
This is a "short film" for The Dead Weather's new single, "Treat Me Like Your Mother." The Dead Weather, if you didn't know, marks yet another band for our intrepid Jack White--but this time he's the drummer. Alison Mosshart from The Kills handles singing duties (she's in the video) and Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stone Age and Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs and Greenhornes round out the guitar and bass, respectively. Fun Fact: The Dead Weather started their first-ever official tour right in our own little Louisville, at Coyote's, of all places. It was a pretty good show except for the 50-year-old dude who brought his 4' 7" 17-year-old girlfriend to the pit of a rock show and then told everyone in a 15-foot radius that she was claustrophobic so YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO STOP DRIFTING, MAN. I MEAN IT. YOU'RE TOO CLOSE.
The band was good, though. And so's this video.
