The man has been named to play Freddy Krueger in the new Platinum Dunes reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and that man is Jackie Earle Haley. I was sceptical, but now I see hope. After his portrayal of Rorschach in Watchmen, I know he'll pull his weight. I just hope they have a script worthy of his skills.

Good Post Steve .. When I first heard that a still healthy and alive Robert would not be Freddy I was pissed. But I'm totally OK with Kelly from the Bad News Bears being Freddy.
He creeps me the fuck out.
