W3C Creator Disses Internet Exploiter

W3C creator Bernes-Lee (which means he sets the coding standards for the web), dissed Internet Explorer in an interview. I would link to the article, but I read it on the Wii, it's an Associated Press article if you are interested. Bernes-Lee said that IE didn't support SVG image format, which is a format that is often used for maps on the web. Even IE's new beta 8 required you to download a plug-in from Adobe to view SVG. Why is this a big deal?
  1. I hate Internet Exploiter
  2. Adobe is ending support for the SVG plug-in January 1st.
What do I recommend you do? Forget Internet Exploiter all together, download Firefox or Google's new browser Chrome, it's only in it's first beta version, but it follows all W3C standards.
I apologize for boring you with tech geek stuff....
Peace.
