Portland leftovers

Overall, Portland was a fantastic experience, and the best way to sum it up would be "Seattle Light." My co-worker Jeremy and I both agreed that Louisville should take a long look at Portland's city structure because they got it right, and no reason Louisville couldn't do it themselves.

This happens to be the best dish I tasted along the way. Hazelnut Crusted Halibut with lemon-thyme beurre blanc, served with garlic mashers and vegetables. I nearly gave the old man next to me a Ric Flair chop it was so amazing.

When I opened the closet at the hotel I was attacked by my bedroom set via 2001. The robes were a cool $120, however it was the woman's nightie that was alarming. I suppose you could slip into the leopard print lingerie that the hotel has provided however I don't even drink out of the glasses they leave on the nightstand.

Powell's Books is one of the most amazing stores I've ever stepped foot in. It's four overwhelming stories of new and used books. Too bad I NEVER LEARNED TO READ!!!!

This is where I took the hookers. The stuffed animal in the middle of the bed could be purchased for $30 and a whopping 10% would be donated to a local animal shelter. Come on, 10% they could part with 50% and still make money. Oh yeah I bought my kid this bear which the night before was used as a drool pad for a Japanese businessman.
