All the stars were out last night when the West 82 food court at Ohio University held its first Rock Band showdown throwdown. About eight bands competed for the ultimate rock prize: Ohio University gift baskets. The three douchebags above (looking like this on purpose, swear to God) renamed ourselves Lucas Leighty's Intramural Ejection (nee Twat-Shot) for the event, which took into account accuracy, difficulty, stage presence and charisma. We opened with Coheed & Cambria's "Welcome Home" and tied for first with two other bands.
That left only one solution, which is really the only right way to solve any problem: ROCK-OFF.
After the first two bands, we were up. We went with "Enter Sandman," all on expert.
To speak candidly...we rocked the hell out of it.
After that, a band of middle schoolers showed up and actually beat us pretty royal, but lacked our good looks, charm and showmanship. So we won. The local FM station host who judged it interviewed Kevin (left) and me (right) this morning...we sold out pretty hard. We'd play in front of an empty bingo hall if they paid us. Check it out here:

should've rocked out with the pubescent boy mustache! It would have scored you some serious overdrive points!
