This is probably the most important Christmas item I've mentioned thus far, it would actually be item (1 of 10), but we're not that far in to the countdown yet.
The #5 slot goes to Christmas puppies. The main animal shelter for Jeffersonville, IN and most of Clark county usually has 10 puppies this time of year, but in the last 10 days they’ve gotten about 50!
Dozens of puppies are whimpering, crying and desperate to find a home.
Jeffersonville’s animal shelter is busting at the seams. They do welcome puppies, but they weren’t prepared to take in 50 in the middle of December.
Just today, the shelter got 9 puppies.
Animal control officers and residents have been turning in the puppies, but if this keeps up the shelter may be forced to euthanize some of the little ones sooner than later.
So my friends, I'm going over there today to rescue a christmas puppy. I recommend you do the same. What better gift, not only are dogs the greatest pets in the world, but you are also saving a life.
