Heroes turns it around!

I started watching this season with a huge amount of optimism. I even kept the faith for the first few weeks, even when the subplots were annoying and repetitioius. It was at the last episode that I finally had enough and had to admit that maybe Josh was right, and that this season was sucking the high hard one.

Last night, Keown and I went to the comedians of comedy tour and laughed our asses right off. If someone sees our asses laying on Headliner's floor, please return them to us, my girlfriend is concerned. After learning about the joys of a brojob, I came home to a freshly DVR'ed Heroes and thought, do I even want to watch this?

Might as well give it one more chance, and oh boy, am I glad I did. Last night's episode, "Out of Time", had no boring subplots (i.e. Maya) and moved the story forward in huge ways. Heroes banded together to fight Matt's father, Hiro defeated white beard and finally came home, Peter went to the future and learned about the great disaster to unfold and Nikki went and got herself poisoned. Take note Maya, your ass will get killed off next season if you don't straighten up.

Also, proving my early prediction, it was revealed that Kensei is Adam Monroe, the true villain who's been killing off the company. And he's got Peter in his grasp.

The best thing about last night's episode is the "morally grey". They do such a good job of making people walk in the middle that you really can't tell who's the bad guy or good guy. So you either root for everyone or no one.

So here's to hoping that they keep kicking ass the rest of the season and that the Writer's Strike ends soon.

Best ep of the season. It's so cool that Hiro is the Kensei that he heard stories of as a child, great touch. And, I really felt for him when he had to leave his true love, poor little feller :( Peter's story is getting better all the time, too. I still like Maya's story, just give it time, I'm sure they've got some great things in store for her. She's not gonna cross the border so she can get a job dancing to "Jump Around" at Chubby's.
