Halloween when you are a kid is a difficult thing, because there are so many things you could be and choosing just one costume is tough. However as October 31st approached you usually decided on something within your parents budget and dedicated yourself wholeheartedly. Through the journey I've had some good costumes and some really bad ones. My least favorite would have to be the year I was the mummy and I was wrapped with one ply toilet paper. I could hardly move and I was constantly coming unraveled so that Halloween was a wash. The best however was the year I went as Spuds MacKenzie from the BudLight commercials. I'm sure in today's oppressed society a kid going as a beer company's mascot would be outrageous however when I went to the Druther's Haunted House and Halloween Party and I was the hit. I had a Spuds mask with white sweat pants and sweat shirt. My mom actually sewed a big black spot on the sweat shirt to seal the deal. Of course the old stand by costume in Morgantown is the "Army Man" however now it's probably something like "Pimp Man" now.

Serial Killer. Went to the biggest party in B C this weekend and every guy was dressed like a serial killer. Of course every girl was dressed as sexy... or slutty... or naughty... or what have you.................for those who don't know a serial killer is anyone who doesn't dress up because they look like a "normal" person ie, a serial killer. Where's the holiday spirit?
