Radiohead to release "In Rainbows" in 10 days

Radiohead has just announced today that they will be releasing their 7th album in on October 10th . And get this, they have no label and so far the album is only available from their website. You can pre-order the download of the album and pay WHATEVER YOU WANT!?!?!!?! Thats right folks, you get to fill in the price, seriously. Also Available is a pimp version that comes with 2 records , the digital downloads, the compact disc, and an extra disc of songs complete with lyrics and artwork. This costs about 80 Us dollars. Either way, this is genius marketing and being that it was done without a label, I'm impressed. A major band has announced a release just 10 days before its release and the cost is entirely up to you. In the age of filesharing and constant leaks , this is amazing.
