A Goonies sequel an 'absolute certainty,' says Sean Astin who played Mikey in the original Goonies. There are still plenty of plot lines left to be discussed but it looks like they all the original Goonies will be back but the story will concentrate on their kids and a new adventure. KIDS! Come on...I want to see the 30 somethings 'OG' Goonies run around on a new treasure hunt and not their kids...if Rocky can box at the age of 60..the Goonies can look for gold in their 30's.Thanks to Stainless Steel 91* Club Level member Jermbro for the assist.

OMG! I am so excited. I still love watching the Goonies! I agree with you guys though, I think that the adult Goonies should hunt for treasure.
Wait?! Didn't they end up with the treasure in the first place? Wouldn't they be super rich still?
I've changed my mind, I want to see the Goonies, living like Rock Stars....
I think they used the treasure money to buy like the whole Goondocks so I doubt they had that much left. Maybe a mil each. It's gonna be aimed at kids but I say we all go to the 10:30 show hang with the rest of the demographic this film is aimed at.
