This weekend I had the privilege of watching the entire first season of Dexter. I finished the finale about 20 minutes before the season premiere. If you haven't seen season one, get off your ass and hit up Best Buy for it, you'll thank me. Unless you have terrible taste. And now, the Good.Bad.Ugly of last night's season premiere.
Good
1. Dexter has a lot of problems mounting. Tension is good. The police have discovered his body dumping ground. This made for one of the most chilling shots I've seen on tv in a long time as they panned away with 30 body bags in frame. It also looks like Rita has a suspicion about Dexter being on the up and up after her ex-husband dies in jail. All in all, this was a great episode, so the good far exceeds the bad. If you aren't DVR'ing this show, you have rocks in your head. Or no DVR, in which case, I'm sorry.
Bad
1. Dexter didn't kill anyone. Granted, this is part of the plotline, but when that absolute man mountain of a gangster got away I was totally aggravated that he didn't kill him.
Ugly
1. Dexter's sister can be downright annoying. But I suppose that's what sisters are for.

Rita's childern have changed.....they are not the same kids as in the 1st season..... Other than that, as shawn posted Dex didnt kill anyone....

I really wanna see this. Netflix has the second season available to watch online, but not the first :(
