I spent the better part of my day downtown at the Ironman Triathlon and it was worth every minute of it. It was truly a surreal experience, because personally I have been a fan of the Ironman for years but I've only been able to follow it on NBC, which by the way is produced in such a way..you would like to run a marathon yourself after watching. Anyway the gentleman above is first place winner Chris McDonald who completed the Ironman in 8 hours and 38 minutes. Side note, he gave me a high five before he got to the finish line..so let's hope and pray some of the ability will rub off. I also saw this year's Bachelor Andy Baldwin..he did really well and qualified for the big show in Kona later this year.
