Asshole of the Day

So today it came out that Jerome Bettis faked a knee injury during training camp a few years back so he wouldn't get cut. Jerome "I have asthma, I'm from Detroit, I smell bad and you should probably keep that oxygen tank close by because I'm a big fat slow shit" Bettis. He seems pretty goddamned proud of it, too. There are a million other blogs that'll have a better take on this than I ever could, but I'd just like to make sure that he gets recognition for being a ginormous, old, lying, 300-pound Asshole with a capital A. I started to write this long-winded argument about why what he did wasn't fair to anyone around him and how making the Steelers pay while he actively not does his job isn't the coolest thing to do, but then I realized that I don't care at all about Jerome Bettis and his dishonesty. He has to be associated with the city of Pittsburgh forever. Punishment enough.
