Tuesday's Hometown Heroes

I talked to Josh last night and he's still in Seattle, slowly stocking up on flannel, drinking expensive coffee and contemplating trading his Mac in for a nice, reliable Dell with Windows Vista. So that means I'm still in charge and choosing the Hometown Heroes of the Day. Today's honorees are Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, known together as The Flight of the Conchords. Here, they show their awareness of and activism with worldwide issues, especially concerning AIDS and inner city violence. They recently premiered their new show on HBO and will slowly surpass The Sopranos in terms of quality. Not to go all Kige Ramsey on you, but it's just a more powerful program. Think about it, think, think about it.
