Was there a weekend this past week..because if so…I didn’t see it. I blacked out sometime Friday afternoon and when I woke up this morning I was moved out of my apartment and in a house. I think Nate slipped me some GHB.
To add to my frustration of not being one of the 500,000 folks to buy the iPhone this weekend, my damn AT&T service has turned to absolute shit. Really ever since the old Cingular and new AT&T started the dropped call commercials..(though they may be entertaining)..It’s really made me take notice of actually how many dropped calls I get ..in the middle of the damn city. I just hate it that we depend on the cell phone so much..When I leave for work and forget my cell phone you should just go ahead and chop off my arms… I do remember a day when I was “hardcore” and would drive farther than 20 miles without a mobile. What was I thinking…No weather updates or up to the minute MLB scores and highlights.
Well the 4th is only a couple days away and we can celebrate what little Independence we have left and I’m heading 2 hours south for the annual Catfish Festival. (See above flyer that WAS NOT USED) I’m actually taking the slow train from Philly tomorrow afternoon to attend the Sad Bastard Brothers first ever show at the festival. Don’t be confused as they are being billed as “The Bad Brothers” because Morgantown is not ready for the words Sad or Bastard. That’s funny because that are two words I usually use to sum up Morgantown…kidding..but no really. As Seth posted on his site looks like Kobayashi is going compete at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating championship..this will be no fairytale ending for the defending champion as Joey Chesnut will take home the championship and new world record. Why am I so amped up for this. I think I should start a competitive eating fantasy league.
Speaking of fantasy leagues…the excitement can officially start to grow as ESPN released their fantasy football annual with Stephen Jackson on the cover. What in the shit does LT have to do to get on the cover. Score 40+ TDs?
TV Tonight: Hey Paula 9pm EST Bravo: I try to like Paula Abdul but she takes two steps forward then…two steps back…..in the end she’s just batshit crazy.
Little People Big World 8pm EST TLC: I LOVE THIS FAMILY..one of the best reality shows on tv today.
They’ve been playing the Problem Child movies on Cinimax…I find that disturbing.

And some of the worst two hours I've ever had the misfortune of spending involved watching Problem Child 2 (!) with my ex-girlfriend's family. Nowhere to run, no chance of changing the channel, having to be mindful of looking antisocial while I quietly seethe...bad times, man, bad times.
